What Happens in the New York Region?

How’s life at the New York Region? We talk to some higher-ups and a dealer to find out.

June 19, 2018

A few weeks ago, we spoke with Andrew Gilleland, vice president of sales operations, and asked for his take on life at Toyota’s regional offices. As the man who oversees the Toyota regions and came through the ranks as a region employee, he had some intriguing insight.

He also suggested we talk with Jeff Buchanan and Kevin Curran, the general manager and assistant general manager, respectively, in the New York Region. And, at the New York International Auto Show in March, we did just that. (It should be noted that Curran is no longer in the New York Region, having recently been promoted to general manager at the Kansas City Region.)
They brought along Mark Montenero, dealer principal at Autoland Toyota in New Jersey – to shed some light on that all-important relationship between our regions and our dealer body.
So, get some regional enlightenment by watching the video here.
