Train Your Impossible: Tomorrow Comes Today

Start Your Impossible with us and you could win a trip to Tokyo for the 2020 Summer Olympics

January 15, 2020

Start Your Impossible is a rally cry around Toyota. So, with 2020 Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games approaching, we decided not just to start our own impossible, but to try to inspire you to do it with us.

And that’s how Train Your Impossible (TYI) came to be. To get hyped about TYI (and get an overview of the series, since you probably don’t know what it is yet) watch the short video above.

To get a few details, keep reading.

What Is It? Train Your Impossible is a monthly video series in which Driver’s Seat Editor Dan Nied starts his impossible by losing weight, eating right and getting in shape. He’ll work with people around TMNA’s Plano campus, and each month, he’ll get advice and insight from Team Toyota athletes like Daryl Homer and Laurie Hernandez about training and motivation. Episode 1 is coming to your inbox next week.

Why Should I Care? Because this isn’t just about Dan starting his impossible. It’s about all Toyota team members facing their challenges.

OK, But What Else? Well, through the TYI Challenge, YOU could win a trip for two to the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.

I’m Listening. Go On: Simply upload a two-minute (or less, but not more) video of you starting your impossible. Your video does not have to be fitness related, it just has to be you living out your SYI goal. It can be something you’ve done in the past, or something you want to start now. Just be sure to show us what you’re doing and tell us why.

How Do I Upload My Video? We’ll have all that information to you when TYI launches in next week’s Driver’s Seat. But we can tell you it’ll be through My Toolbox, and submissions will be taken until March 22. The contest winner will be chosen by team member vote in May. That’s right, people’s choice.

Got that? OK, good. Now, please watch the video above. Dan practiced his lines in the mirror for, like, four days to get it right.
