Todd Parrish will tell you being a quadriplegic doesn’t limit what you can do, it just changes how you go about doing it.
The production group leader for Toyota Motor Manufacturing, West Virginia suffered a rare medical incident in 2013 that left him paralyzed.
“I was scared not only about myself… and if I was going to recover,” Parrish recalls. “I was also thinking about the implications to my family. I’m the main provider.”
Taking a nearly two-year medical leave, he endured extensive rehabilitation to relearn how to do… everything. We asked Parrish how he faced insurmountable odds to reclaim his independence to start his impossible. Watch his story above.
