Experience the Toyota Experience Center

The grand opening of the ultimate Toyota museum spotlights the company’s past, present and future.

August 07, 2019

Toyota Motor North America’s headquarters officially opened in 2017. And things have been going pretty great since then.

But the campus wasn’t quite finished, because its coolest historical feature remained under meticulous construction: The Toyota Experience Center (TEC).

If you worked at the old TMS headquarters in Torrance, California, you may remember the Toyota museum, housing tons of classic Toyota and Lexus vehicles. Well, the TEC is the next iteration of that, updated and improved for modern times. The TEC comes complete with interactive displays, tons of cars, helper robots and exhibits centered around manufacturing, auto racing, Lexus, and so much more.

We could tell you all about it, but we made the video above so you could experience it visually. So we suggest you watch that ASAP.

However, what we can tell you is that the TEC is open to team members and their guests every weekday from noon to 4 p.m.. And it’s located on the first floor of the E1 building. So, if you’re on campus, make it a point to stop by. And if you’re off campus, make it a point to make a trip to Plano to experience the Toyota Experience.
