Even More Special

At the Chicago Auto Show, Lexus displays two limited edition vehicles and introduces an inventive new approach to leasing.

No Mellow Yellow -- You'll know you've spotted a Lexus LC 500 Inspiration Edition when you see its vibrant Flare Yellow exterior paint finish.

Lexus’ vehicles are pretty darn special. So is its commitment to customer care that has set it apart from its competitors for nearly 30 years now.

Yet, at the Chicago Auto Show this week, the luxury brand took the wraps off two limited edition models that, well, find a way to raise that specialness to an even higher level.

Cabin Fever -- The exterior theme carries into the interior. Note the bespoke yellow Alcantara door inserts on the left and right.

Leading the way is the third vehicle in the Lexus Inspiration Series: the 2019 LC 500 Inspiration Edition. You’ll know it the moment you see it, thanks to its vibrant Flare Yellow exterior paint finish. This rich, metallic shade of sunshine catches your eye from a distance, yet subtly amplifies every crease in the sheet metal up close.

Other distinctive design elements include:

  • 21-inch wheels
  • Carbon fiber roof and lower grille insert
  • Bespoke Yellow Alcantara door inserts
  • Semi-aniline leather-trimmed touring seats with yellow stitching
  • Yellow stitching integrated into the instrument panel, console and glovebox
Lexus will make just 100 of these LCs, each with a unique inscription on its carbon fiber door sill. And each will come with a matching leather Lexus garment bag with Flare Yellow lining and double yellow stitching — the perfect complement for those special weekend getaways.
Very Limited Edition -- Lexus will make just 100 LC 500 Inspiration Series coupes, as documented on each car's door sill.

Want to be one of the few to own this extra special coupe? They go on sale in April starting at a Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $106,210.

Black and White -- Forged split-spoke 19-inch alloy wheels, black lower sport bodyside graphic and Ultra White exterior paint job are among the design elements that distinguish the limited edition Lexus NX SPORT Black Line.

A Special Edition Compact Crossover

Meanwhile, the NX F SPORT is poised to get the Black Line treatment, incorporating a host of special styling and design touches inside and out.

For example, in the passenger cabin you’ll find:
  • An exclusive Mark Levinson 14-speaker, 835-watt premium surround sound audio system
  • F SPORT Arctic White and Black seats with body-hugging NuLuxe sport seat surfaces
  • Coordinated black headliner, floor mats, cargo mat and key glove
  • A 10.3-inch navigation system multimedia display
  • An intuitive power tilt/telescoping steering column
  • Parking assist
  • A power rear door with Kick Sensor
  • Active Sound Control, that feeds some of the engine note through the speakers
Audiophiles Listen Up -- The Black Line package includes an exclusive Mark Levinson 14-speaker, 835-watt premium surround sound audio system.

On the outside, the NX F SPORT Black Line’s bling includes:
  • Forged split six-spoke 19-inch wheels
  • Lower sport bodyside graphic
  • Choice of Ultra White, Obsidian or Atomic Silver exterior color
The first of the 1,000 NX F SPORT Black Line Edition luxury compact crossovers will go on sale in February with a starting MRSP of $48,575 for the front-wheel drive model and $49,975 for the all-wheel drive model.
Cool Customer -- The NX SPORT Black Line gets Arctic White and Black seats with body-hugging NuLuxe sport seat surfaces.

A Special Lease Offering
Separately, Lexus introduced the Lexus Complete Lease option on its all-new UX crossover. This inventive offering combines a 20,000-mile total, two-year lease with other valuable services in a single package.

More specifically, the customer makes a single monthly payment and gets:
  • To drive a UX for up to 10,000 miles per year for two years
  • All scheduled maintenance every 5,000 miles
  • Vehicle insurance with a $500 deductible
  • Guaranteed Auto Protection (GAP) waiver
  • Two years of connected vehicle services, such as SiriusXM and Lexus Enform Remote Destination Assist (included on Navigation-equipped models)
  • Tire and wheel protection
  • $1,000 excess wear and use allowance
“This type of alternative leasing program aligns with the heart of Lexus, providing an amazing guest experience in every way,” says Lisa Materazzo , vice president of Lexus marketing. “By appealing to those looking to simplify their monthly commitment, the Lexus Complete Lease program makes the process more streamlined for our guests.”

Nearly 80 participating Lexus dealers in seven initial states — California, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and New Hampshire — will begin rolling out the Lexus Complete Lease this month.
